For many, especially those who are in smaller mission organizations or live in rural areas of the country, InterMissions provides a once a year opportunity to worship and hear God\u2019s word taught in English. It provides the place to renew old friendships. It affords the space to spend time away from your ministry focus in order to hear God in a new and fresh way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-accent-background-color has-background has-medium-font-size\"><strong>MISSION STATEMENT&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">Intermissions exists to serve the English speaking missionary community living in Guatemala by connecting, encouraging and supporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-accent-background-color has-background has-medium-font-size\"><strong>VISION STATEMENT&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\">To see God\u2019s kingdom expanded in Guatemala through meaningful connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conference&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>InterMissions provides the native English speaking Evangelical missionary community in Guatemala a unique weekend of inspiration, encouragement, and fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a time to set aside the demands of daily ministry and receive ministry through the Word of God and fellowship.&nbsp; At InterMissions you will enjoy the relaxing surroundings, the networking opportunities, and of course, the great times of corporate worship and biblical teaching.&nbsp; We encourage you to plan annually to join with us in this great time of fellowship and worship with fellow missionaries who also answered the call to move to Guatemala and serve our Awesome God!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Purpose of the InterMissions Family Conference:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>to provide a weekend \u201cspiritual retreat\u201d for missionaries and their children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to provide a time and place where missionaries working in Guatemala can \u201cnetwork\u201d with each other, and can learn of, and from, each other\u2019s ministries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>InterMissions Sponsors:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To make it financially accesible to the missionaries, sixty to seventy percent of the conference expenses are subsidized so they can receive the spiritual renewal they need. Previously the larger mission organizations financially subsidized the conference, but they have since left Guatemala. We depend on individuals and churches like you to be a blessing to those serving on the frontline here in Guatemala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you, a church, or an individual you know wants to help sponsor missionaries to go to the conference, please click below to make a tax-deductible donation.
